He is inordinately humble and tends to avoid accepting praise; but, the fact is that Ferdy is a natural leader who has inspired us. He has used JungleDragon to paint us a picture of a genuine nature community, a family, where we can learn and share our excitement for the natural world. The Viviparous Lizard

The viviparous lizard or common lizard, "Zootoca vivipara", is a Eurasian lizard. It lives farther north than any other reptile species, and most populations are viviparous, rather than laying eggs as most other lizards do. It is the only species in the monotypic genus "Zootoca".
