Thanks Christine :o) I had noticed before and stumbled on it again yesterday, that the one "Life Cycle" image we had that was stored under this species name (below) is a bit of an oddball combi of two species, so I decided to throw something together from my (very mediocre) holiday pics for comparison ...

        1. Often it's mostly because the single shots are too small and low quality to stand on their own *rolleyes*
          But yes, it is also good to have multiple aspects of one critter/theme all visible at once ;o)

The Zigzag Ladybird (Cheilomenes sexmaculata - previously Menochilus sexmaculatus), is a Ladybird (Coccinellidae) in the sub family Coccinellinae. It is an important predator of many insects such as aphids, thrips, whitefly, coccicids and psyllids with a worldwide distribution and common aphid feeding species being found in Pakistan, India, Borneo, Jawa Indonesia, U.K. Philippines, Islands of Bali, France, Sumatra and South Africa.
