    Nitant, note that I re-identified this as the White-throated kingfisher. All sources that I checked consider the Brown Breasted Kingfisher to be exclusive to the Philippines, plus it's brown is a lot darker than your photo.

    PS: can you please improve your other posts: several of them are still missing a title and location, which is basic information needed for every post.     Posted 6 years ago

The White-throated kingfisher

The white-throated kingfisher, also known as the white-breasted kingfisher is a tree kingfisher, widely distributed in Asia from the Sinai east through the Indian subcontinent to the Philippines. This kingfisher is a resident over much of its range, although some populations may make short distance movements.
