  2. I read that the ibex is only about 50 kg/110 lbs, which is amazing because it makes me wonder how heavy the horns are? The horns can grow up to a meter long! Posted 3 months ago

The Nubian ibex is a desert-dwelling goat species found in mountainous areas of Algeria, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen, and Sudan. It is generally considered to be a subspecies of the Alpine ibex , but is sometimes considered specifically distinct . The wild population is estimated at 1,200 individuals.
