The Nubian ibex is a magnificent desert animal. It lives in cliffs and got extinct in most of its range (Ethiopia to Israel). In Israel several hundreds of them thrive and can be seen easily in the town of Mizpe Ramon on the cliffs of the Ramon Crater.
