The Spanish Purple Hairstreak is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found on the Iberian Peninsula and the South-East France. The wingspan is 12–15 mm. The butterfly flies from April to October depending on the location.

The larvae feed primarily on ''Fraxinus excelsior'', but also other ''Fraxinus'' species and possibly ''Ligustrum vulgare''.
