Tricholoma odorum This mushroom definitely had an interestingly shaped cap, so much so that I've nicknamed it the "buttshroom".<br />

It was pale yellow overall, with pale yellow gills with frequent short gills. The stipe had some brownish streaks and yellow basal mycelium. <br />
<br />
Habitat: Growing on the ground in a mixed forest (mostly oak, eastern hemlock, and birch).<br />

"Tricholoma odorum" is a mushroom of the agaric genus "Tricholoma". It was formally described in 1898 by American mycologist Charles Horton Peck.
