Common Funnel - Infundibulicybe gibba Beautiful mushroom with a cap that was very light peach/cream color and was undulating. It was indented in the center. The gills were white and decurrent. The stipe was peach/cream colored and fuzzy from white mycelium near the base.<br />

Common Funnel - Infundibulicybe gibba

Beautiful mushroom with a cap that was very light peach/cream color and was undulating. It was indented in the center. The gills were white and decurrent. The stipe was peach/cream colored and fuzzy from white mycelium near the base.

Habitat: Growing on the ground in a deciduous forest.

"Infundibulicybe gibba" is a species of gilled mushroom which is common in European woods. In English it is sometimes known as the common funnel.
