Late Fall Oysters - Sarcomyxa serotina Dry, tan-green caps with pale yellow gills and short, stub-like stems. The caps ranged in size from 3-6 cm wide, and they were fan-shaped with incurved margins. The gills were attached and looked like they were descending the stem. There were 4 of these mushrooms growing fused together.<br />
