THE MATING MONGOOSES - seen here a couple of mongooses mating.These are known for their anti snake behavior and live in group.They look nice with shining grey fur and bright eyes.Very shy mammal have two or three babies at a time.They act as cleaner of the environment as they feed on dead animals etc.usually live digging holes in the ground.
The small Asian mongoose is a species of mongoose found in the wild in South and Southeast Asia. It has also been introduced to Hawaii, Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Lesser Antilles, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Suriname, Venezuela, Guyana and Mafia Island. The western subspecies group is sometimes treated as a separate species, the Indian mongoose or small Indian mongoose .
