''Chrysolopus spectabilis'' is a species of weevil found in south-eastern Australia. It is up to 25 mm long, with metallic green patterns on a black background. It is a specialist, only known from 28 species of ''Acacia''. It was discovered during James Cook's first voyage, and became the first insect to be described from Australia.
