Acrobat Ants (Crematogaster lineolata?) in Rotting Wood ID Tentative.

I'm terrible with the Formicidae family, so any insight on an ID would be most helpful! Found in rotting wood in a dense mixed forest.

For the habitat and distribution, it seems this is most likely Crematogaster lineolata?
Seems right for the habitat/distribution? Please feel free to pitch in!
1. They definitely have pointed abdomens. Did you key them out? Posted 6 years ago
    1. Yes. I got the genus suggestion from an ant expert on iNaturalist this morning. I then looked at a key for the Eastern US.

      C. lineolata seemed like the best match, but I can't be 100 percent sure (I'm not super familiar with ants)! Waiting for a reply back from him to confirm my ID.

      1. I'm not good with ants either, but the pointy bums seem to match? Posted 6 years ago
        1. Yes! I would have considered C. cerasi, but it seems it is mostly up your way! Posted 6 years ago
