Acrobat Ants (Crematogaster lineolata?) in Rotting Wood
ID Tentative.
I'm terrible with the Formicidae family, so any insight on an ID would be most helpful! Found in rotting wood in a dense mixed forest.
For the habitat and distribution, it seems this is most likely Crematogaster lineolata?
Seems right for the habitat/distribution? Please feel free to pitch in!

Crematogaster cerasi is too far North. Crematogaster laeviuscula is too far West.

C. lineolata seemed like the best match, but I can't be 100 percent sure (I'm not super familiar with ants)! Waiting for a reply back from him to confirm my ID. Posted 6 years ago, modified 6 years ago
