
Jewel Caterpillar, La Isla Escondida, Colombia
Chuchuuu, glob train coming through. This semi-translucent, gelatinous caterpillar is called a Jewel Caterpillar, probably belonging to the family Dalceridae, and possibly the genus Acraga.
If I have the genus correct, this caterpillar will morph into adult moths like these:

"Minacraga plata" is a moth in the family Dalceridae. It was described by S.E. Miller in 1994. It is found in Costa Rica and Panama. The habitat consists of tropical moist, tropical premontane wet and tropical premontane moist forests.
