Heteronotus vespiformis, La Isla Escondida, Colombia

Opening day 3 in La Isla Escondida, and our 2nd full day in the reserve. We started early to make the climb to bird watching tower 2, which is 23m up. First thing there we inspected the tree itself to search for canopy life. One of the first observations was this wasp-mimicking treehopper.

I couldn't really get a good angle on it as it was above me and walking away from me.
