  1. Glena bipennaria? Posted 6 years ago
    1. You just beat me to it, yet I have a slightly different candidate:

I honestly can't tell the difference between both candidates. The only difference I see is that the "zigzag" pattern in the middle of the wings is more explicit in "Glena unipennaria".

      What do you think?

      1. Wow! They are almost indistinguishable :/ Posted 6 years ago
        1. Both are so similar! I literally just counted dots and both have similarities and differences. The distribution of Glena unipennaria is closer to Colombia though...if that matters. Maybe the answer is in the species names - uni vs bi "pennaria". Posted 6 years ago
          1. One of them means "one feather." The other means "two feathers." So this is referring to the feathering of the antennae I think? Posted 6 years ago
            1. hmmm, interesting. I had in the meanwhile settled on unipennaria as a slightly more likely match, let me know if that is wrong. Posted 6 years ago
              1. I agree with that choice. Posted 6 years ago
              2. It looks good to me! Let us know if you find out anything different! Posted 6 years ago
