  1. Looks a lot like Idaea sp., but I have no idea on a species at this point!

    I'd think Family Geometridae>Subfamily Sterrhinae

  2. This actually looks like a close match for genus (if they have a correct ID there)?
    Nematocampa sp.

    1. That looks perfect, thanks! Did you see the caterpillars of species in that genus? So cool! Posted 6 years ago

  3. What do you think of the Tricentra genus? Is the color washed out on this individual or is this an accurate depiction of its hue?

This is Tricentra benevisio. Getting closer maybe?

    1. Impressive! Tricentra benevisio matches well in its pattern and texture, yet as you said the color is off, could also be due to flash. Tricentra brunneomarginata looks like a better if not an exact match to me. The margin is thicker but not that much thicker. I'd say we have a winner? Posted 6 years ago
      1. Not sure of its distribution (I'll let you search for that part :P) , but it looks pretty close one. The genus looks spot on for sure.

Edit: NEvermind! This one is found in South America!
