The Cribrochalina olemda

A tube sponge of the family Niphatidae.
This tube sponge produces cyclic peptides called kapakahines.These compounds are being analyzed for pharmaceutical applications. For example, Kapakahine E has shown cytotoxicity against P388 murine leukemia cells.
