      1. Both are superb suggestions, thanks! I'm keeping photos side by side of both and superficially cannot tell the difference. The only minor difference I'm seeing that in this genus, the "shoulder" part differs. Some are green and furry, some are exposed as seen on the shot. Compare for example with Oospila depressa, which has more green.

        Based on that and distribution, I'd say albicoma is likely, but I'm really not sure.

Oospila albicoma, the Blotch-marked Emerald, is a geometer moth in the Oospila genus. Oospila albicoma is found in the eastern Andes and across much of Amazonia. This species inhabits rainforest and cloudforest at elevations between about 200-2000m.
