    I agree. The color looks a little washed out in this photo, but perhaps Nemoria lixaria (Red-bordered Emerald)? Posted 6 years ago, modified 6 years ago

      Now I know why I couldn't find a match earlier, I was dismissing any species with horizontal bands as on my photo they are not shown. Turns out they are, if you look close enough. Thanks once again! Posted 6 years ago
