  Thanks! That looks very similar indeed. Checking that genus the "stains" do seem a lot darker, but could also be due to flash. Posted 6 years ago

    I agree that that looks pretty close to Lophosis sp. or Lophosis labeculata! Such a beauty! Posted 6 years ago

      I agree that Lophosis labeculata is very possible, and there seems to be a huge amount of variation within that species:

    You're welcome! Like you said, the vibrant colors could be from flash. Or, it could be a super fresh moth. Or, it could be that your camera is way more awesome than most people's cameras and therefore produces a more vibrant image?? Posted 6 years ago, modified 6 years ago
