  1. Having just put our entire garden on FB, I know how hard it is to get this fabulous quality of shot...do you do any editing at all? Posted 12 years ago
    1. Very little Tamara, when I put these photos on I never did any, I tend to just tweak now, but I do take lots of the same thing and then choose the best, I am my own worse critic. Posted 12 years ago
  2. Bridget, just one last query...as someone completely new to nature photography, with a truly terrible camera, is it considered 'cheating' to auto sharpen your image digitally once on the screen? I haven't done it at all so far but just tried it on one of my slightly soft flowers and it helped...but it feels very wrong somehow...grateful for your take on the general consensus! 1. Absolutely not a problem with enhancing a photo Tamara, it is not wrong and if it improves the photo output it can only be a good thing - tweak away Posted 12 years ago

"Cosmos bipinnatus" is a medium-sized flowering herbaceous plant native to Mexico. The species and its varieties and cultivars are popular as an ornamental plant in temperate climate gardens. It can also be found in natural areas in much of North America, where it is a garden escape and in some habitats becoming a weed.
