    1. I am glad with this camera I managed to focus on a tiny part of the bird's face through a mass of twigs, leaves and branches. I failed to this this with my EOS 7D MkII! I still have to test it with birds in flight, tiny birds, etc. Posted 6 years ago

The long-eared owl is a medium-sized species of owl with an extensive breeding range. The species breeds in many areas through Europe and the Palearctic, as well as in North America. This species is a part of the larger grouping of owls known as typical owls, of the family Strigidae, which contains most extant species of owl.
