  1. This is a very cool find! It instantly reminds me of 2 species in the Netherlands that somehow can survive winter whilst all other dragonfly species die, here's one of them:

The frosted whiteface is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is found in northeastern United States and southern Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
