
Lactarius atroviridis
Sticky, pock-marked snarky green cap with darker green spots arranged concentrically over the marginal half. Margin was inrolled. Pale pink gills with white latex that turned greenish upon exposure to air. Stem was similar to the cap.
Habitat: Growing on the ground in a small cluster in a mixed forest with mostly oak, eastern hemlock, and pine.
