Hyperolius bobiri splayed out on a leaf This frog's scientific name comes from the Bobiri Forest Reserve, where it was first discovered. Bobiri is still one of its only two known locations. You'd think it would have the English name of Bobiri Reed Frog, but that name was already taken by Hyperolius sylvaticus, which was also described from a specimen found in the Bobiri Forest Reserve.
