
Mucronella pulchra up close and personal
Mucronellas are small, toothed fruiting bodies found on the wood their mycelium decomposes. Many of them in our area (PNW) are white. This is the one that is yellow orange. Each tooth seen here is about 4 mm long. This is a left-right stereo pair.

Mucronella pulchra is a fungus that grows in tooth-shaped groups in damp areas. It belongs to the family Clavariaceae.
