Mucronella
I thought this one was interesting because either there are two species growing side by side or this one is oddly bi-colored.
It comes with a story too.... So, I had to work for a few hours this afternoon but I wanted to spend the morning out. I went to a suburban park nearby to my office. As I was all hunched down framing this shot, two power-walking soccer mom types came around the bend and saw me there. Now I had an umbrella up, because it had started to rain a bit, was squatting down, and wearing my old ratty rainbow striped gloves because they are fingerless, but still warm and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not and was wearing a messenger bag, so they probably couldn't see my front much.... I can only surmise what they thought I was doing... but I heard one go woooooooo.. as soon as they got around the next bend.... Why do I somehow think that on Nextdoor somewhere or in some suburban police report there's a now a story about the crazy, homeless, lesbian taking a poo in the park..

Mucronella pulchra is a fungus that grows in tooth-shaped groups in damp areas. It belongs to the family Clavariaceae.
