Black-winged saltator (Saltator atripennis)

The black-winged saltator is a South American songbird species. The saltators are traditionally placed in the family Cardinalidae, but actually seem to be closer to tanagers. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
