  1. Beautiful species! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks! It was my first encounter with new World barbets, and I loved them! If all goes well, I'll get to see another species in Panama two months from now :) Posted 6 years ago
      1. Panama is also very beautiful! I have not been in Colombia but I was in Panama in 2007. I went to Coiba in the Pacific to scuba dive and was awesome but I did not have an UW camera yet. And later I went to Yandup in the Kuna islands of the Caribbean and that was also amazing. I hope you can find many more beautiful species and later show us here in JD :-) Posted 6 years ago
        1. Ooh nice! No diving for me on this trip, unfortunately, so I'll have to focus on the land-dwellers! Posted 6 years ago
  2. Wow, both male and female are so beautiful! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Right? The poor females get overlooked in so many bird species because they are drab, but in this species, the ladies are stunning too! Posted 6 years ago
      1. I love both! Posted 6 years ago
