Paepalanthus chiquitensis of the Brazilian Cerrado
Although they were post-blossom during our visit at the end of September, they are still interesting plants and when in bloom, have become the signature flower of the Brazilian Cerrado. You can see them on many wildlife/nature award wining photography sites.
