This one was found on a unidentified species of Acacia . Size was only approx 15 mm and possibly third instar . This specimen is also from the Anglesea Heath area.

The Painted Cup Moth is a moth of the Limacodidae family. It is found in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as South Australia and Tasmania. The wingspan is about 50 mm for females and 20 mm for males. The larvae feed on ''Eucalyptus'' species.
