Brazilian Bush Anole close-up
Tis one was sitting in the middle of the road as we drove up and happily just stayed there for pictures. The local guide identified it for us as this, so I am pretty sure about the identification - unless our Herp expert wants to differ.
Brazilian Bush Anole (Polychrus acutirostris) is a member of the only extant genus of polychrotid lizards in the word.
