
Rosy Bonnet - Mycena rosea
A beautiful, autumn bouquet of mushrooms <3
Pinkish purple, flat, tacky cap with striate margins. Gills are whitish, close, and have cross veins. The stem was pale pink and fragile.
Habitat: Growing in clusters throughout a mostly pine forest.

"Mycena rosea", commonly known as the rosy bonnet, is a species of mushroom in the Mycenaceae family. First named "Agaricus roseus" in 1803 by Danish botanist Heinrich Christian Friedrich Schumacher, it was given its present name in 1912 by Gramberg.
