-Neon yellow partial veil covering pale yellow pore surface. Pore surface stains olive.
-Pilei with peachy tones stain blue/green to olive around the margins.

Described as new to science in 1853, the widely distributed species is known from Asia, Australia, North America, Central America, and South America.
