Morning Glory Moth - ghosting, Heesch, Netherlands I hope this freaks you out, because I&#039;m certainly trying. I found this plume moth on the glass of our garden door and did not plan for this quadruple reflection. It can be explained though: main flash + 2 x ring flash units + daylight = 4 light sources. I darkened the scene to dramatize the effect a bit, and to hide how nasty the glass is when magnified.<br />

  1. Wow! What an impressive series of photographs, Ferdy!

I think your adjustments worked perfectly. The contrast makes these photos very dramatic and crisp! <3

    1. Thanks, Lisa! It was sorely needed. It's crazy how dirty glass windows are at macro level. Posted 6 years ago
  2. Very cool effect! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks! Entirely accidental, but planning is overrated. Posted 6 years ago
