Autumn

The leaves are starting to change and the temperatures are getting cooler. The foliage is beautiful, but the change of seasons is bittersweet!

Habitat: This is one of my favorite spots in Connecticut. It's a quiet place in the NW corner of the state that is a bit too remote for most people to visit. The forests here are mixed (mostly oak, pine, hemlock, and birch), there are swamps, ponds, and lots of creatures!
