Hawksbill Turtle Saw this Hawksbill Turtle came to the surface as we were gearing up for a dive and see it again during the dive.<br />
The Divemaster was very excited pointing it to me as I later realised, they don&#039;t often see Turtles regularly due to the low numbers of them in Fiji.  There are lots of Sharks in Fiji including Tiger and Bull Sharks and Turtles are a favourtie food of the Tiger Sharks! Hawksbill Turtle

Saw this Hawksbill Turtle came to the surface as we were gearing up for a dive and see it again during the dive.

The hawksbill sea turtle is a critically endangered sea turtle belonging to the family Cheloniidae. It is the only extant species in the genus "Eretmochelys". The species has a worldwide distribution, with Atlantic and Indo-Pacific subspecies—"E. i. imbricata" and "E. i. bissa", respectively.
