Pygmy Seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti)

Tanjung Lampy, Lembeh.
My first decent picture of one of the prettiest seahorse species of the planet. I had seen them already in Cabilao, Philippines but back then my camera flooded and broke just at the moment of making a pic of them. So this was a pending on my list :-)

  Thanks for the appreaciation, Ruth! They are not easy to photograph because they are 2 cm or less and they quickly turn their back to you. I also do not want to make many pics because the flash may damage their eyes. So for this one I was very lucky :-) Posted 6 years ago
