Twin-spot Centurion (Sargus bipunctatus) A European species of soldier fly. The thorax is a shiny metallic green, the  veins in the wing quite are quite distinct and two white spots on the face.The male and female differ considerably in appearance, the female having a red area at the top of the abdomen. <br />

Twin-spot Centurion (Sargus bipunctatus)

A European species of soldier fly. The thorax is a shiny metallic green, the veins in the wing quite are quite distinct and two white spots on the face.The male and female differ considerably in appearance, the female having a red area at the top of the abdomen.
