  1. Note to admins:
There are 7 shots for this species under the "info/photo" section.
Unfortunately only 3 of them are actually Convolvulus sepium, which is always completely white except the pistil and its center.
3 of the 7 shots are Convolvulus arvensis, 1 is uncertain for me (but most likely a C. arvensis, too)

    1. Thanks for reporting this, Lars. Species identification is a community process, so you are encouraged to actually change wrong IDs yourself, also on photos not by you. You can remove a species identification using the red X button, and after that re-identify. It is common courtesy to post a comment on the photo when you remove identification, to explain why it is incorrect. Posted one year ago

''Calystegia sepium'' is a species of bindweed, with a subcosmopolitan distribution throughout the temperate Northern and Southern hemispheres.

It is an herbaceous perennial that twines around other plants, in a counter-clockwise direction, to a height of up to 2-4 m, rarely 5 m. The pale matt green leaves are arranged spirally, simple, pointed at the tip and arrowhead shaped, 5-10 cm long and 3-7 cm broad.

The flowers are produced from late spring to the end of summer. In.. more
