Length: 70 cm.
Distribution: From Malaysia to Philippines, Indonesia and Australia.
Color goes from pale brown to orange-pink or red.
Grows on hard substrate. Tubes growing upwards from the same base. Only in places with strong currents, these sponges stay short and grow in one piece. The outside is warty while the inside is smooth. Feeds on plankton and detritus.
