Tambja morosa meets Tambja gabrielae
Pulau Abadi, Lembeh.
T. morosa is the big green and blue nudi and T. gabrielae is the small orange and dark green nudi. The latter can grow almost as big as the former but in this case is a juvenile. Nudis can predate on other nudis so I hope this encounter did not end in tragedy for the little T. gabrielae.
''Tambja morosa'', also known as ''Tambja kushimotoensis'' or ''Gloomy Nudibranch'', is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the subfamily Nembrothinae within the family Polyceridae.
This species is instead sometimes placed in the family Gymnodorididae.
