Brown rat - Rattus norvegicus Captured in Sofia, at a small city lake. Crossed my path and hid behind some stones. Than curiously looked around from behind the stones for a couple seconds, just allowing me to make a couple of shots. It was long about 15-18 cm (without the tail).       1. Once in a while we get field mice in our house and they are a bit bigger than the city mice and with these same bulging black eyes...so pretty! we evict them without harming them :-) Posted 7 years ago
