    1. The passionflower vines were covered in them! Every source I've looked at says that their choice foodstuff is amaranth, but I've seen multiple photos of this species on passionflower! Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago

"Disonycha glabrata" is a species of striped flea beetle from Chrysomelidae family that feeds on "Amaranthus retroflexus" and lays eggs in it. Species larvae first stadium lasts 3.6 days while the second last 2.6 following by 2.9 of the third stadium during which times it spends 13.5 days in a soil.
