    1. Thanks, Christine! A lot of planning went into this one. Meaning, I was taking a break and put my camera on this bed of moss and then thought, ah why not :) Posted 3 years ago
      1. Wow, so this was spontaneous? That makes it even more awesome. You can't go wrong with pinecones and moss <3 Posted 3 years ago

    1. Unsure if you detected my sarcasm in the above comment, so to be clear: I took zero care of this shot. I just happened to put my camera on this place on the ground :)

      Thank you though :)

        1. To me it shows that composition is the hardest skill to master in photography. You can learn and know about every single technical exposure setting there is, but it all fails to deliver without composition. And to be self-critical, I'm at best average at composition. It's very much a soft skill where there's no hard repeatable rules, which conflicts with my engineering mindset :) Posted 3 years ago
          1. I am in awe of so many people here in on JD! So many of you are SO talented yet humble!

I'm definitely a newbie in all areas of photography! :D I don't know much about the technical side of photography, so I'm flying by the seat of my pants the majority of the time.
