    1. Nope, just a coincidence. The rock behind the mushroom was covered in lichen, and these must have fallen off. I liked the way they looked, so I left them there for the shot :) Posted 7 years ago

Imleria pallida is a species of bolete fungus. it was described by Charles Christopher Frost in 1874. The bolete was reported from a Mexican beech forest in Hidalgo, Mexico in 2010.
