
Orange Hawkweed
Orange Hawkweed is a plant with truly beautiful, bright little blooms. Flowers are yellow, orange or red and may be solitary or in a cluster. Each flower is approx' 20 mm in diameter when fully opened. It is a non-native in North America and despite the beauty, has noxious weed status in 5 states. Its origins are in Europe and it stands approx' 50 cm in height.

"Pilosella aurantiaca" is a perennial flowering plant in the daisy family Asteraceae native to alpine regions of central and southern Europe, where it is protected in several regions.
