It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont and Virginia.
