Tiger Sawgill (Lentinus tigrinus)
Habitat: Growing gregariously on decaying wood floating at the edge of reservoirs of fresh water (in a wetland habitat) in Floyd County, Georgia, US.
Gill surface: White, serrate, fairly crowded, decurrent.
Stipe: white at apex, transitioning to a darker brown towards tapered base. Spotted/mottled appearance nearer to base.
Pileus: Umbilicate, white to cream with brown scales towards center
Spore print: White
