Yellow Knight (Tricholoma equestre)
Habitat: Growing in pine straw/soil in a primarily pine forest in Northeast Alabama (Cherokee County), US.
Gill surface: yellow (looks more neon in person), notched attachment, fairly crowded, varying lengths of gills
Stipe: pale yellow, slightly peeling
Pileus: dirty yellow to pale yellow (with brown hints), moist (slightly slimy) from recent rain
Spore print: white
