Came across a good number of this species in the grasslands of Munnar, Kerala. There were almost as common as the Pseudophilautus species. The one photographed here is a female. It was moving in the direction of a male, calling from deep inside a grass thicket. We couldn't find the male but his presence was loud and clear.
